Elaine Elkington is proud to support Samaritans’ Feel Good Friday, on Friday 1st February by contributing a proportion of fees for treatment to charity. WebHealer is supporting Samaritans for the second year in a row, encouraging and helping therapists throughout the UK to take part in the fundraising day.
For every treatment carried out a proportion of fees will be donated to Samaritans. More information is available at www.osteowellbeing.com. Elaine Elkington said: “This is an important fundraiser, and I am very pleased to be able to help Samaritans. It is really important that Samaritans vital service continues to be available 24 hours a day. On Feel Good Friday I will be donating £5 for every adult I treat and £3 for evey baby and child I treat to The Samaritans. This will include osteopathy treatments from Thursday 31st Jan - Monday 4th February. . All three clinics are included: Bodywise, 21 Old Ford Rd, Bethnal Green London; White Crane Clinic, Primrose Hill, London NW1 8XE; Burbidge Clinic, Southsea, Portsmouth, PO4 0NX." Its a great way to feel good twice. Not only are you helping Samaritans, but you are looking after yourself as well.

- Every year, Samaritans answers 5 million calls for support from people across the UK and Ireland
- Samaritans’ 20,665 volunteers are available 24 hours a day, 365 days to help people struggling to cope.
- The charity needs £10 million a year to run their life-saving service
- £3.83 pays for one call to be answered by a Samaritan
- £100 allows the charity to recruit 5 new volunteers
- £1,000 keeps Samaritans’ service running for 12 hours
